Our good friend Robbie Redway and his Mum and step-dad Janie and Mark kindly offered to let us stay in their beautiful and well designed barn conversion on Bodmin moor (Treswigga). Surrounded by rolling moor land, horses, cows and cute pubs we sat by the fire and supped Skinners' ales whilst protecting ourselves from the 'refreshing' rain and cold.
Kit hurt his back and so although we couldn't do much walking we got to recoup from a week of burning the candle at both ends.

Betty Stoggs Bitter - one of Kit's favourite brews
But not ones to discriminate we sampled a selection of the range - unfortunately the brewery is closed to tours over winter else we would have visited and 'sampled' some more :-p
