Well the 5th Jan is the anniversary of our first date so for dinner we went out to a proper French restaurant called Brasserie Julienne - http://www.julienparis.com/en/ - "The most feminine of the Art Nouveau brasseries" on a recommendation. And boy was it Art Nouveau. The food was excellent but the service experience was the best part of the night complete with penguin clad waiters, 4 courses (including the champagne aperitif) and plush surrounds.

Looks deliciously grand. Must have been a great celebration. Did the chocolate lava cake waddle over from a truffle sauce and pasta plate? Or was it entirely vegetarian?
