Arrived in Helsinki. We didn't know what we were getting ourselves into - we thought that England was cold but Helsinki has put us straight! We spent our 8hr stopover walking around the city centre looking at the sights. First up was the Lutheran Cathedral (Big white church), then the Ministry of Finance pictured with Simon where he spent several meetings financing Council Housing projects in Finland. We got so cold (-2 C) that we had to dash inside and warm our cockles with 'Gloggi' aka mulled wine with almonds and sultanas to you and me.
